I recently read a post by Chris Morris who wrote about his refusal to accept the commonly accepted notion that there is both a conscious and unconscious/subconscious mind. You can read his article here:
The science of the human mind and the human body is not an exact science. It is not like metallurgy where, if you perform a certain experiment you will be able to expect an exact result every time. Much of what we do and know in medicine and the science of the mind is based upon theories and models. The concept of two minds is one of those models. There are a few models of the mind, some divide the mind into more than the common 2 minds mentioned here.
So don’t get caught up in the model. Find a solution to your challenges that works for you and continue on to study something like metallurgy if you need something more precise. And look for a hypnotist that can be flexible and use whatever challenges you present to help you move toward a desireable result.
